Privacy Policy
Effective date: July 2026
We built Ingredlabs so you can get real help without handing over your identity. There is no account to create and nothing to sign up for. This page explains, in plain words, how little we ask for and how carefully we treat it.
We ask for as little as possible
There is no account and no sign-up. We never ask for your name, email address, or contact details. The only thing Ingrid works with is what you choose to tell her in the conversation, and only so she can suggest ingredients for you.
Your conversation stays yours
The copy of the conversation you see lives in your own browser. To run the service safely, our servers also keep a working record of the exchange for a short time; it is used for quality and safety checks, deletes itself automatically within 90 days, and is never sold, shared, or used for advertising. We never ask who you are, so none of it carries your name.
What we keep, and why
If Ingrid declines a conversation for safety reasons, we record only that it happened and why as a category, never the words themselves. Medications you mention are used during the consultation to check interactions with the ingredients she suggests; that is what they are for.
What we keep long term
The only thing we keep long term is a de-identified summary of what a conversation covered, for example the ingredients suggested, so recommendations improve over time. It sits under a random one-time number with no connection to your browser, your device, or the conversation record, and we commit to keeping it that way and never attempting to re-identify anyone.
Cookies and Tracking
We use minimal, functional browser storage required to operate the service: keeping your conversation on your device, and one functional cookie that tells returning browsers apart so fair-use limits work. It carries a random token, not your identity. We do not use third-party advertising trackers.
Health information
Because what you tell Ingrid can touch on your health, we keep a separate, plain-language Consumer Health Data Privacy Policy describing exactly what health-related information the service handles and why. You can read it at the Health data privacy link in the menu.
Third-Party Links
Ingredlabs may display links to third-party retailers. Some of these may be affiliate links, meaning Ingredlabs may earn a commission from purchases at no extra cost to you. We are not responsible for the privacy practices of those sites: clicking a retail link takes you off Ingredlabs, and that site's own privacy policy applies.
For adults only
Ingrid is built for adults. She works only with ages 18 and over, and an age under 18 is not accepted. Ingredlabs is not directed at minors, and we do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18.
Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy as the service evolves. Changes will be posted on this page with a revised effective date. Continued use of the service after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
